I started training for my first marathon in January 2010 and planned to run the Pittsburgh Marathon on May 2. Just two weeks before the race I injured my leg. After resting for a week I attempted a short run which ended in pain and to make matters worse I woke the next morning with a sore throat and terrible sinus pain.
